"I was wondering if .. maybe .. you wanted to go out with me?"Wendy and Robbie from Gravity Falls! One of my favorite shows at the moment. I started watching it in August and it quickly grew into my new obsession.
I made these costumes for my boyfriend and I for Halloween but we've actually gotten a lot of mileage out of them since then. These characters are so fun to portray and its nice having simple costumes for once! We wanted to do the snow cone scene from Time Traveler's Pig because that was just hilarious.

The best thing about these costumes is the day after this shoot we met Alex Hirsch at a Gravity Falls themed party while we were wearing these. He loved them! He was like “You guys basically ARE Wendy and Robbie” Haha! He said it was surreal to hang out with his characters. Pretty neat, huh?!
